My name is Colin and I'm in charge of fundraising and am the secretary for Harefield radio I have been working in Hospital Radio for 8 years , mind you I have always been interested in broadcasting ever since I heard the pop pirates in the 60s Radio Caroline, London, North Sea International, But by far the worst to listen to was Radio Luxembourg. Things have come a long way since those days, more radio stations and choice of music to listen to. The music I play is mostly from the 60, 70, and the 80s. With a little bit from the 1990 but it is all easy listening music, I got into Hospital Radio by chance when I met Cliff Green, he noted I had a large collection of CD's and after we chatted he asked me if I might like to do some presenting at Harefield, it was nerve racking to say the least.

But after some guidance from Cliff the rest is history or so they say, the station has been at Harefield for more than 40 years and we are now hoping to build up our presenting staff to do more programs again.

Now we are in our brand new studio which has taken 6 years to get completed, but it was worth the wait.

One of the good things about Harefield is the shows are put together by each presenter which make the shows more enjoyable to do. I look forward to entertaining you on you Hospital radio.
